GYBA and Jr. Gryphons Basketball tip off a special season this year. We are celebrating our 20th Anniversary!
For two decades, GYBA has given local youth a place to learn the game, build skills and make friends. We are proud of how far our Club has come.
A Big Year for Jr. Gryphons Basketball
This season, GYBA is home to 16 Rep teams and 12 Development League divisions.
Our Rep teams will compete at tournaments across Ontario. We also welcome a new G-Elite U19 Girls Rep team, giving older female athletes a chance to keep playing competitive basketball for Guelph.
Development League: Spots Still Open
Our Development League follows a fun, supportive house league format. Players practise skills and play games, with official referees for ages 12 and up.
Know a player who isn't quite ready for Rep? There is still space available. It's a great way to build confidence and enjoy the game.
New Partner: Xeist
Xeist is our new apparel and merchandise partner. Show your Jr. Gryphons pride with gear from our new online fan store.

Thank You, Guelph
A basketball club is more than game day. It's the coaches who stay late to help a player with their shot. It's the volunteers who run practices and tournaments. It's the parents who spend weekends in gyms across the province, and the teammates who lift each other up.
To our coaches and volunteers: thank you. You give your time, energy and passion every week. Our players feel that impact on and off the court, and we could not offer these programs without you.
To our parents and families: thank you for your support. You get players to practices and games, and you cheer from the sidelines. You help make the Jr. Gryphons community what it is today.
As we start our 20th season, we celebrate where we have come from and look ahead to what's next.
Here's to 20 years of Jr. Gryphons Basketball. Let's make this season one to remember!
