What is the difference between the Junior Gryphons House League and Representative Programs?

The House League Program is a recreational program focused on skill development, participation, and fun for players of all skill levels. The Rep Program is a competitive program that requires athletes to participate in tryouts and compete against teams from across Ontario.

What ages can participate in GYBA basketball?

Programs are available for boys and girls ages 5 through 18, depending on the division and program.

How do I register for a GYBA program?

All registrations are completed online through TeamSnap. Program pages include registration links and important dates.

Do I need basketball experience to join?

No. Our House League Program is designed for players of all skill levels, including beginners.

Where are GYBA programs held?

Programs are held at schools, community facilities, and University of Guelph locations throughout Guelph. Locations vary by age group and season.
